Haiti House #75 Mirto Poteau

Mr Mirto Poteau is the tall man in the picture.  Since his wife died, he lives with his old ailing mother and takes good care of her. He is a farmer and hard worker. He is the church treasurer and one of the most available persons in the parish. Though his house looks pretty good on the outside, the interior structure and the roof are in bad shape.  Because of the condition of the house and the health of his mother, the decision was made to build a house that would furnish Mrs. Poteau a healthy and safe environment where she can spend the rest of her days.  Thanks to all who made this miracle possible but especially to the Duplantis Family since this house is the first in the “subdivision” dedicated to their dear mother, Mrs. Mercedes Duplantis.
