Ms. Jeanette’s Story
In 2008, I faced major surgery with serious risks. Doctors warned me that I might not survive or could suffer severe complications. By God’s grace, I awoke pain-free and recovered quickly—a miracle I attribute to the prayers of friends, family, and even strangers.
During my recovery, I felt a calling: to help women in need, especially those in Haiti. I remembered the women I had met—walking miles to sell a few bananas, struggling to access basic medical care, and often suffering silently from preventable health issues.
While many Haiti Mission projects support schools, clean water, and food security, there was no program dedicated to women’s health. I decided to act.
Woman to Woman Project
Purpose: Provide direct medical and health support to women in Haiti.
How it Works:
- Annual dues: $12 per person
- Funds go through Haiti Mission, Inc., a tax-exempt organization.
- Every penny supports women’s health under the Diocese of Jérémie, Haiti
Our Vision: Under the patronage of Our Mother of Perpetual Help, Woman to Woman unites women.
